No one has mentioned the method I use for scanning. We are a
small library and I do not have a personal scanner. We have a Ricoh
Aficio, which is a large, multifunction machine, used by the entire
library staff. It can be used to scan documents, which it then
e-mails to me. I download the documents onto my computer and import
them into Odyssey Standalone. <br><br>

<blockquote type=cite class=cite cite="">Hi,<br>
<br>
Thanks for all the interesting replies to my questions earlier this
week. I have another one.<br>
<br>
A couple of people responded that they had trouble getting Odyssey to
work with their scanner. This surprised me, since it worked without
any tweaking with my own, an old HP scanjet.<br>
<br>
I’m interested in compiling a list of scanners that DO work with Odyssey
with no tweaking (or very little tweaking).<br>
<br>
If you have time, please shoot me an email with your scanner model and
type to <a href="mailto:prather@amigos.org">prather@amigos.org</a><br>
<br>
Thanks<br>
