standalone Odyssey on the same PC. The only conflict I've come across is
that Odyssey can't use the scanner when Ariel is open, but it's a simple
workaround to close Ariel, scan and send using Odyssey, and open Ariel
again.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><BR></DIV>Central College currently uses Ariel and we are examining the
issue of<BR>incorporating the Odyssey standalone product in our interlibrary
loan<BR>services. We would most likely run Ariel and Odyssey on the same
PC<BR>and use the same scanner for both programs; I have read about
possible<BR>conflicts when running the two programs on the same
machine,<BR>especially in regards to the programs' use of TWAIN or other
drivers.<BR>I'm new to the various ILL electronic delivery applications and
I/we<BR>have some questions that I'm hoping current Odyssey users can
help<BR>answer:<BR><BR>1. If you are using Odyssey now, are you also still
using Ariel?<BR>2. If "yes" to question 1 are you using Odyssey and Ariel on
the same machine?<BR>3. If "yes" to question 2 have you noticed any conflicts
between the programs?<BR>4. Do you send and receive documents via email on
Ariel and/or Odyssey?<BR>5. If "yes" to question 4 could you provide some info
on how you or<BR>others set this up, and how email via Ariel and/or Odyssey is
