I received a new computer recently and the Odyssey installation has not gone well. When I test the system I get the following message: Results: Address Unknown. Forwarding not allowed. A connection was successfully made to the Odyssey server, but the specified NVTGC was not recognized as a valid recipient. Confirm that the Odyssey server is properly configured for this NVTGC and then try again. My IP address has not changed, and it is static. The firewall is open, port 7968 is open, and I have no idea what NVTGC means. Any suggestions are welcome. If you use multiple symbols, the correct one has to be appended after the Odyssey IP address 123.456.789.10/ILL is generic for a single-code library. You can try either leaving it off, or replacing it with your own symbol. I received a new computer recently and the Odyssey installation has not gone well. When I test the system I get the following message: Results: Address Unknown. Forwarding not allowed. A connection was successfully made to the Odyssey server, but the specified NVTGC was not recognized as a valid recipient. Confirm that the Odyssey server is properly configured for this NVTGC and then try again. My IP address has not changed, and it is static. The firewall is open, port 7968 is open, and I have no idea what NVTGC means. Any suggestions are welcome.
