[Odyssey-L] General SQL error

Hi all,
 
Here at Mary Baldwin College we recently installed the standalone version of
Odyssey. However, at random intervals a General SQL Error message pops up.
Can anyone shed some light on why this is happening and how we might fix it?
 
Here's some technical info on what we are using: 
Odyssey version 2.0.1.0 (auto updates from 1.0 installer that was
downloaded).
SQL install package from Odyssey installer -  SQLrun01.msi (from 1.0
installer) 
SQL version installed by Odyssey - Desktop SQL Server SP3 2000.080.0760.00
(from 1.0 installer)
